Here’s what I get in the XCode log output: Output from XCode for white-screen-of-death I was able to get it to white-screen while I had XCode connected overnight with the app closed. Maybe it had something to do with the app having replaced an existing TestFlight version? I’ve received a couple other reports of people not being able to bring it back to life by restarting the app or their device, though, so it’s not just me. However, I did have an issue with my production app, downloaded from the App Store, where it would not load even after restarting the app and my phone. I really hope this is something that's fixable. I click the download link on the Origin website and once it finishes downloading to my computer I open the program and instantly get met with a blank white screen. Generally, quitting the app and starting it again brings it back to life. I'm having a similar issue, but I can't even get to the actual installation of the launcher before having a white screen. I open the app, it loads fine, tells me there’s an update available (my custom UI for reloads), so I tap to update. On the main screen, tap the white screen to expand trip details. It seems to happen in either of these situations: I’ve been keeping current with Meteor updates and am currently on 2.5.1, but this was happening before that (including before the Cordova 10 upgrade, I’m pretty sure). got full-screen during playback of the EA logo and jingle (red on white). I have been noticing it myself more, though. Installed the game on Origin and did not play it until it finished installing. It seems to have gotten worse this year, but I’m not sure. The first thing I installed was my nvidia drivers, then the origin launcher and apex legends this worked with no issues! Reinstalling windows was my last resort and I’m so glad it worked. Many of my iOS users have been reporting the dreaded “white screen of death” when opening my iOS Cordova Meteor app. Thanks for all your help!Įdit2: I fixed it!!! I basically backed everything up and reinstalled windows while I was at work. Expand your viewing experience with this edge-to-edge height adjustable 24-inch U2422H FHD monitor that delivers wide color coverage and fast connectivity. Is there anything else that I can do at this point? Thanks in advance.Įdit: Yeah guys, I think I'm just gonna give up on this one, at least until Origin pushes another update that will actually work. Some things I did included: uninstalling origin, running as administrator, deleting the cache, troubleshooting compatibility for windows 10, firewall permission. I've googled and done everything I could, and it seems like the solutions being provided only worked for some people. ![]() Due to the fact that PC games tend to be more resource intensive. I've been trying to install the origin launcher onto my computer in order to play apex legends, and I can't get it to open no matter what I try. In gaming, crashes are often the sign of overheating.
